UKCPO membership is available to trade, professional, regional, charitable, user and government organisations but not individual persons or companies UKCPO membership is available to organisations and Associations with members in the UK, whose aim is to promote some component of UK photonics or technical optics, on a regional, technology or market sector specific basis UKCPO is intended to function for photonics professionals The UKCPO Committee has final discretion on acceptance or refusal of membership Election of a new member organisation requires a two thirds majority of all those eligible to vote (present or not).	UKCPO membership comprises an effective matrix of regional photonics groups and national industry-specific assocations
